6 Months

Six months. Samantha is six months old today, and I am growing accustomed to that deep ache in the pit of my stomach screaming that life goes by too quickly, especially with a child. I realize that may sound a bit dramatic since she is only six months old, after all, but this is coming from the mother who cries every time Samantha grows out of anything. I’ll be asking for another newborn very soon at this rate, since the growing up part is the only thing I can’t seem to handle.

To commemorate the occasion of her halfway birthday, Samantha has been showing off her new Pulling Up skills. Whatever she can get her hands on, she now uses to pull herself up to standing. Now when I put her on the ground to play, I turn around and she’s standing up. Everywhere I look, she’s always checking out her new perspective. So here are a few pictures of her Six Month Old Beauty and those photos I’ve gathered of her pulling herself up with no assistance.
