We Made It!

So, it’s a little late to announce our arrival to the great state of Georgia. It has, after all, been a few months since we first got here. But, after a lot of traveling, a lot of unpacking, and even more rearranging, we are starting to feel settled. We waited and waited- all the way until the day before Matt’s terminal leave was over for him to start his new job. But God has been faithful, and we are now getting settled into our new routine while Matt is working away at his new job. So today, after a power outage from an ice storm, and a lovely visit with Uncle Gabe, I wanted to celebrate electricity, family, and all the many things that we have to be grateful for, including the newest member of our family, a wonderful kitten named Whiskey. So, as is my custom, I suppose, here is a smattering of photos from the last few months that I think should commemorate just such an occasion:

  1. What a journey you all have had. So glad you are beginning to feel settled. I cannot wait to see what God has in store for you this year. These pictures are precious. Whiskey certainly has found a loving family. We are thrilled to have you closer so we can see you more often. Also looking forward to your first blog about Samantha’s new adventures with soccer. Love you all!

  2. Thanks be to God! Blog posts have returned! 😀

I love you all so so dearly. It was absolutely wonderful getting to spend most of my week with you!!

  3. What GREAT pics!!!!! They tell their own very powerful, and adorable, stories!!! It feels like you are closer to home, even though for me it is pretty much the same amount of time to get there… and since staring a new job, it is a bit more challenging to get away… I still can’t wait to come see you all!!!!! LOVE, HUGS & KISSES TO ALL!!
