Moving again. . .but not yet

Along with moving, come many interesting changes. Because the Army is so delightfully inefficient, we were approved for too much leave. Since the ball was already rolling for us to leave too early, our aptly named living room has become just that as we learn to sleep on the floor and do without. Since we must endure a week of this depravation, our children have had to adapt. Unfortunately, they have adapted quite quickly, and we have learned that the greatest reason to give your children toys is too avoid imminent danger and near-constant wreckage. And also to avoid overhearing parental directives like this one that I just heard while writing this very post: “Because I don’t want you blowing air into Bubby.”

Since I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on the fun, here are some of the highlights from our week of limbo:DSC_0342 DSC_0357 DSC_0356 DSC_0358 DSC_0366 DSC_0365 DSC_0364 DSC_0363 DSC_0362

  1. You all handle these changes so well. It seems the first time you moved to Augusta it was right around this time and Samantha Bean was only five weeks old. You make moving look easy although I know differently especially with little ones. Such creative children. They know how to entertain. God speed, safe travels. Love you!
